Hi I'm Destiny

I love creating art: music, photography, drawing, painting, etc. I want to travel the WORLD. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

As I have said. I love art! Art History included. I've recently got into photography; learning about it has been so much fun! I love being outdoors: biking, hiking, cliff diving, river rafting, etc. I LOVE my mountains. I'm going into Elementary Education with an emphasis in (WILD GUESS) Art! I sometimes get scared that having an emphasis in Art will limit my career choices (as opposed to having an emphasis in Science or Math) but Art is my passion so I'm running with it!

Why I am a Mormon

To be honest, I was born into a home where the gospel of Jesus Christ was strong. I grew up with it being a big part of my life, but everyone has agency, the right to choose. I have chose to stay a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. This gospel has brought me joy like nothing else has. The more I study the gospel and actually LIVE it the more I come to know what OUR savior, Jesus Christ, has done for me, individually, and every single person who has ever lived or will live. He loves me. He loves me with a pure, real love. He loves me so much that he suffered and died for my every weakness. He makes my weaknesses strong. He loves every single soul ever created. NO MATTER what you have done, He LOVES you! His atonement is real. It can make sins as if they were never there. This is a continual process. We can never be perfect in this life time, but if we are faithful, and with the necessary help of His atonement, we can be made perfect in this next life. I KNOW that the Book of Mormon is true! I have read every page. I don't know how anyone has a doubt of its truthfulness after reading the entire book. It is truly another testament of Jesus Christ. If one is having doubt about this gospel they should just read this book, ponder the meaning, and apply it in their lives.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday. I go to a ward filled with people my age (college age). I get the privilege of being the secretary in the women's organization in my ward. I meet some really amazing women. I love serving them. I love my ward. I think it is filled with love and humor. I also go to institute. It is like a religious class at the university but separate from the university. It is in a separate building. I love it because I go through my college classes and then I get to take a break and go to institute. It really helps me to do better and try harder to be a true disciple of Christ. Church and Institute help me stay focused on the important things in my life.
