Hi I'm Elder Aaron Adams

Lover of music and the Lord. Serving in the Brasil Brasília Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma, and moved to Gilbert, Arizona at the age of six. I am currently serving in the Brasil Brasília Mission. I love to sing and run.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this wonderful church, and I wouldn't have it any other way. If I didn't have the church in my life I'm not exactly sure where I would be, who I'd be with, and what we'd be doing right now, as I am making this profile. I have noticed that throughout my life I have more self-control and I feel like I am happier than those around me who don't have the gospel, if that makes any sense. People ask me how being a Mormon makes you good at everything, and now that I think about it, we're all really good at what we do; but not because we were baptized at eight and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but because we are honest hard workers who strive to put a full honest effort into every aspect of our lives, and that's what separates us from the rest of the world. We know what is right and we stand for it in every way possible. I know that the Lord loves us and wants the best for us. I know that Christ lived and died for us so that we can live with him again. I also know that Satan is real and he will stop at nothing to bring us down. Although he knows he will lose this war, his attempts are strong and he will bring down as many of us as he can. But I know that through the Savior's atoning sacrifice we can repent and live with our Father in his kingdom.

How I live my faith

I strive everyday to live the gospel in such a way that others are able to see it and feel it when I'm around! Music has a big impact on our lives and an incredible uplifting power as well, it can truly heal the soul as it has mine. That's why I sing, to help others feel our Father's love for them. Keeping God's commandments and hard work is a demonstration of our love for and faith in Christ, that He can and will save us from physical and spiritual death if we come unto Him. As I live obediently and strive to keep my covenants, I feel the Lord's love and our mutual trust grows that much stronger. As we endure, we once again show our Heavenly Father our determination to do what is right and follow His example. President Kevin J. Worthen once said, "My plea for you today is to learn how to fail successfully." With the help of the Savior and the comprehension of His timing we will be triumphant.
