Hi I'm Monica

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife to a great guy. We've been married for just over 8 years. I am a mom to three amazing boys. They keep my busy, which means things are never boring around my house. I love to read and write.

Why I am a Mormon

Hmmmm... What a loaded question. Well, first, I was born into the church. My parents raised me in the church. But obviously it's more than that. Through my own study and experience I have grasped the truthfulness of His gospel. I know that my Savior lives, that He died for me, and that He loves me. I know that my Father in Heaven sacrificed much for all of us to be here, that he guides us today through scriptures and our modern-day prophets, and most importantly, loves and knows each one of us. I know that this church, this gospel was restored through the faith and diligence of Joseph Smith. Many of my ancestors joined the church in it's infancy, and for that I am grateful. I have been blessed with an eternal family, one that I hope to guide into righteousness. I am overwhelmed by the peace of knowing that my little family can be together forever. This gospel offers so much. It has blessed me with such an amazing knowledge of who I am and where I come from. And also, a knowledge of where I'm headed. This gospel gives me strength, it gives me patience, it lightens my burdens, and it fills me with hope. I love my Savior and the life He lived and offered, so that I can return to my Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I teach the Laurels (girls ages 16-18). I have served in the youth program for about 6 years now and love every moment I spend there. Also, each Monday we hold Family Home Evening, a night of gospel lessons, games and treats. Our boys look forward to this each week and remind us to get our lessons ready.
