Hi I'm Andy

I grew up playing sports and enjoying the outdoors. I have two fun kids and a loving wife. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have two older brothers and grew up with playing sports with my family. My dad was our coach and my mom was our team mother. We also enjoyed camping and fishing in the Utah mountains. We moved to different parts of the country up until I was in high school. I earned my college degree and went to work in sales. I met my wife at church and we have been blessed with two amazing children. We are fortunate to have adopted our kids. They keep us hopping and are our pride and joy. We enjoy spending our vacations with our families.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon all my life. However, I consider myself a convert in the sense that while growing up my family was not active in the church. I didn't understand the beliefs of the Mormon church when I was younger. Just like every kid, I was raised to know between right and wrong, be polite and to work hard. I was inactive in the church throughout my high school days and only periodically attended church. Eventhough at that time in my life I was not interested in being an active Mormon, I could not deny the feeling I had inside me that testified of the truthfulness of the gospel. As I began to follow the feelings in my heart, I began to better understand what it meant to be a child of God, as well as, appreciate the atoning sacrifices Jesus Christ made for me. As my knowledge of the gospel of Jesus Christ grew, so did the feeling inside me, testifying of its truthfulness. God has watched over me my entire life and has helped me to be who I am today. He has helped me overcome my challenges and sorrows and has guided me to my sweet wife and kids. I am grateful for my Savior and His atonement. I am thankful to be a son of God. I am glad that Heavenly Father has given us modern day prophets to help guide and direct us in the world today. I am glad to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

My family and I enjoy being involved in our church. I have participated in many activities and organizations in the church. I have taught sunday school to the youth and have held leadership positions within our local area. Currently I am serving as the athlectic director for our area. I really enjoy working with the men, women and the youth in our area to organize basketball, softball, volleyball, etc. Sunday is a special day for our family. We look forward to attending church, reading stories to our kids and playing family games. We also like to be involved with the school our kids attend, especially helping with the yearly carnival fund raiser.
