Hi I'm Toni

I'm a wife, a mom, and a grandma. I'm also a Mormon.

About Me

The only thing i ever wanted to be was a wife and mom. After I graduated from high school I got in a year of college then I met the boy of my dreams and we got married. Our girls started coming shortly after that. I didn't get back to school but being a wife and mom was just fine with me. We've been blessed in that I was always able to be home with our girls, as they were growing up, and not have to work outside our home. Now we have grandchildren and there's no sweeter name than to be called "Grandma."

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized into the church when I was 9 yrs old. My parents are converts. It has become so much a part of who I am because it's not just a Sunday religion. It's a way of life. I grew up knowing that Jesus is the Christ, my Savior and Redeemer. He lived on this earth and established His church at that time. We have that same organization re-established on the earth today and He stands at the head of it. He knows me by name and loves me enough to die for me. I guess when you say you KNOW something that important, it has to play a part in your daily life. It's wonderful to know we have a living prophet on the earth who can give us modern day revelation, relative to these difficult times. The heavens are open and current revelation is real.

How I live my faith

The family is such a major focus of the church. It's a major focus of my life as well. I can't seem to get enough of them, now that our girls are grown up and moved out of the house. My favorite times are when we're all together, which doesn't happen often enough for me. I have held several positions of leadership in the church throughout my life. Currently, I teach in Relief Society once a month. Relief Society is the organization for all women ages 18 and up. I think I probably learn more than anyone in the class, every time I study, prepare, and teach a lesson.
