Hi I'm Chris Lunt

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I haven't done anything in my life that the World might view as noteworthy, but I have had many experiences that have helped me to appreciate everything around me. I was raised with a small farm, and was taught the value of work, family and honesty. I have learned to love others and have been lucky enough to experience other cultures as I was able to spend two years of my life in the Fukuoka Japan Mission teaching many wonderful people about Jesus Christ and his love for us. I have five beautiful, loving children. They don't always do the things I would want them to do, but I love each and every one of them. I am happy I have had the time to spend with them and look forward to many more years of watching them grow. I enjoy working with computers and computer systems, spending time with my family and working with the Youth both in the church and thru other organizations including scouting and AYSO soccer.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have felt the love of Jesus Christ in my life. Yes, my parents are Mormon, but I knelt and asked my Heavenly Father for my own witness, for my own answer and I got that answer. I felt the spirit of our Heavenly Father witness to me of the Saviors love for everyone and his desire for us to become more like him. I have seen lives changed by his love. I have seen the light that glows in the eyes of people as they realize that we have a loving Heavenly Father and that he loves us so much that he sent his Son Jesus Christ to show us the way back home. I have been blessed by the power of the priesthood, the power exercised by my Father as my Mother lay in a hospital bed clinging to life. Her miraculous recovery has been a witness to me for over 40 years. Most of all I am a Mormon because I read the Bible and Book of Mormon when I was a young man, I knelt down and asked Heavenly Father for my own witness and I got that witness.

How I live my faith

I am blessed to work with the Youth program in my ward. My time that I spend with them is never a burden but a blessing to me and my family. I volunteer with the local AYSO as a referee Boy Scout merit badge counselor and Leader

What are some things that tell you there is a God?

Chris Lunt
Everything around me tells me there is a God. The beauty that is all around tells me that there was a divine creator who loved us enough to give us the opportunity to come here and grow thru experiences. Some good and some bad, but all give us the chance to grow. It is our own choice to either learn and grow or not. I am amazed at the order of the world, the changes in the seasons, the beauty of each. I have witnessed the beauty of birth, of animals and humans, my own children. The growth and development of both. The miracle of life, growth and death. What a grand plan, what a great world. Nothing this complex or beautiful could happen by accident. Show more Show less
