Hi I'm Bianca

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Bianca, I grew up in Dallas, Texas area. My parents converted to the church when I was a baby. I attended primary with other children and then, I was active in my youth group. I also attended early morning seminary, a daily scripture study group of sorts for teens. I was so lucky to attend and graduate from, Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. I got married shortly after that and together we have 4 children. I enjoy homeschooling and trying to eat like Daniel from the bible. I enjoy cooking, learning new things and all things paper.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because, my parents were. I've stayed Mormon because I am deeply committed to having a happy family. I have come to understand and believe the words of the the First Presidency, in the Proclamation of the Family, "Happiness in family life is most likely to be achieved when founded upon the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ." After my parents separated when I was twelve, we all stopped going to church, but I wanted to know for sure, which was the right church for me. I was blessed to have a close Aunt who was Baptist at the time, take me to many different churches to see which one I could relate to most. It was a beautiful experience. I felt Heavenly Father's love for me, at all the different meetings. When it came time to decide, I sat in the foyer of a Mormon church building, under a large picture of Christ and I just knew, like I knew, like I knew, that this was the place for me. The Spirit witnessed to my heart and my mind that the gospel was true, and by living the teachings of the Jesus Christ, I could find true Joy and Happiness with my family and live together with my companion for eternity, even after I die. There have been many difficult times along the way, my testimony of the gospel has been tried but I can not forget that feeling, that sure knowledge of the truthfulness of the gospel, I felt that day. And today, so many years later, I have found happiness, peace and joy in my family life as I live the teachings of the Savior in my every day life.

How I live my faith

These days, I live my faith by going to Sunday Church, and reverently celebrating the whole day. I Visit the temple, teach my children about Jesus and Heavenly Father and help out at church when asked. I try to be kind and help those in need. I smile a lot. I forgive, I repent, and as my children and I often say, "I do my best and repent for the rest." I study the Bible and the Book of Mormon. I love reading the stories about Jesus in both of these great books. I am currently helping my youngest two, learn of God's love for them by helping them discover His creations.
