Hi I'm Mary

I grew up in Phoenix, AZ. I am an accountant, a wife, a mom, a step-mom, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I spent nine years as a single mom, but recently re-married. Together, we have six children. I am enjoying learning how to cook for this large group. We are very busy with our children's interests including sports, scouting, and singing. I collect porcelain dolls, and I have them all over my house. I also love to sew. In fact, I made my wedding dress this past summer.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a strong mormon houshold. My dad was actively involved in leadership roles in the church my whole life. There came a point in my life that I needed to know for myself that this was the truth. I was in High school when I read the Book of Mormon by meself. I asked Heavenly Father if it was true. I felt strong feelings of peace, and my life took on so much more meaning. I knew that I was on the right path. The path Heavenly Father wanted me to be on.

How I live my faith

I have always been an active part of the church. I always try to fulfill whatever the Bishop asks me to do. I have taught Sunday School, been a leader in the children's organization, led the choir, and done many other things in church service. While I was single, I was on the commitee organizing events for the single members in our area. Because we have recently moved, I do have not been asked to searve in a regular position in the church yet, but I am always willing to help. I have been substitute teaching in the children's sunday school and teaching the women's group.
