Hi I'm Kelly

I'm a wife, a mother - who makes silly movie with my kids and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a wife, stay-at-home mom of four kiddos, and the oldest of eight children. I enjoy reading, playing games with friends (even though I never win), family bike rides, walks when the weather is right, reality shows, singing and laughing. I'm will try almost any food (a least once).

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in a Latter-day Saint home. Life was not perfect in a house of eight kids (dang, it's not easy with four kids:) But we loved each other. As a child I leaned on the testimony of my parents, siblings and other people around me. When I was a youth I stepped away from church. I soon found that living the world’s way does not bring the same happiness as living the Lord’s way. As an adult, I have gained a testimony of my own through personal prayer, reading the scriptures, and serving others. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and knows me. He sent his son Jesus Christ to show us by example how we should live and love. He knows the pain and sadness I feel. He laid down His life willingly for me and rose again in three days. HE LIVES!! He has not left us alone. He has given us sacred scriptures to be our map and a living prophet to be our guide on earth today. I am thankful for the knowledge I have of the full gospel of Jesus Christ. I’m afraid to think what my life would be without it. I’m not a perfect person by any means of the word but I try everyday to be better.

How I live my faith

My testimony of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ is strengthened as I serve others. I have felt the Savior’s love very clearly as I have taught the simplest principles of the gospel to the young children in the church. I have also been able to feel His love thought music as I direct the choir.
