Hi I'm Tatiana

I'm a sports-fanatic, a penny-pincher, a comedian, a makeup-lover, and a simple-stay-at-home mommy. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mom to 3 (soon to be 4) beautiful children. I enjoy camping, saving money, re-decorating my house, teaching myself new skills, playing with makeup, playing sports, and making people laugh.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a Mormon by great parents who practiced what they preached. We were never rich, but were always blessed abundantly in other areas. We had wonderful Mormon neighbors and friends who were always there for us when we needed it most: whenever we were sick, these friends brought us meals, cleaned our home, helped babysit us, or assisted in giving us priesthood blessings. A group of friends and I used to attend the temple once a week at 5:00 am before school started. I grew to love the temple. I knew I would some day marry there for all eternity. Because I was married in the temple, I know my family will be with me forever--not just till death.

How I live my faith

I run a small business from my home, and have met a lot of people through it. I'm connected with those people via social media, and I've had the opportunity many times to share my testimony and faith. It's reached people as far as Australia and Europe. It's been an amazing opportunity to share what I know to be true, to people I have never even met. At home my husband and I teach our children gospel truths. Each week on Monday nights we have Family Home Evening where a short lesson on a gospel topic can be taught and understood by our kids, which is usually followed by a church song, a prayer, a scripture, a treat, and a game. It brings our family closer together. We always eat dinner together and talk about what we did throughout the day. My husband and I both serve in our church, and our kids love to tag along and see us working together, and serving our neighbors. We feel it's been great for them to see our example. We want our kids to grow up being respectful, hard-working, and honest. In my community, I head up a playgroup for other stay-at-home mommies in the neighborhood. We meet once a month and mingle with each other while the kids play. It's a wonderful way for us to discuss our faith and reach out to help one another. I also serve as the president of the Young Women's organization in my stake (over about 200 youth and 30 leaders). I, along with some other leaders, help train other leaders about how to work with teenage young women. I help organize events/activities/camps for all the young women and leaders in our area. We provide wholesome, fun activities where they can learn more about the gospel and share experiences with other youth of their same standards. Serving here has really blessed my family. Once a month, I also have the opportunity to visit about four women in my neighborhood who I look forward to serving, and watching over. I share a spiritual message with them, discuss their needs, and help them with the events in their life.
