Hi I'm Alicia

I grew up in the Seattle area. I'm writing a fantasy novel and am a stay at home mom of 4 kids under the age of 5. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I absolutely love photography. I fell in love with it in middle school and went to school for it in college. Now I keep it up by doing side jobs every now and then, and taking A LOT of pictures of my kids. I love excercising! I started running Cross Country and Track when I was 12 and ran through college. I placed 19th at the Junior College National Cross Country race. Now I go speed walking or running on my own. It is one of my favorite parts of each day, and helps energize me for my busy life. I am writing a fantasy novel. Shortly after marrying my wonderful husband I came up with a great idea. I think sometimes people don't think I'm serious about this, but I am! My goal is to have it published in the next few years. I also love to play the piano, sing (especially along to musicals), read, hike and camp, learn about interior design, and research how to live a healthier, happier life. And last but certainly not least, I love my hard working husband and raising our beautiful children.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized when I was 8 years old and I have always known this church is true. I always felt the warmth of the spirit as I read the Book of Mormon as a young girl, and it continues now. I know that if I were not a member of this church there is no way I would be as happy as I am now. I KNOW who I am! I know I am a daughter of God. And I strive each day to live so that I can return and live with him again. I have hard times in my life, but whenever I have focused on my Savior and living with faith that my Heavenly Father knows what's best for me I have been able to rise above my trials, move on and be happy. I know I could not get through each day on my own and still be a sane, happy person. My husband and I have 4 kids under the age of 5! Life can be SO crazy, and I know I have unseen help and strength. I have prayed for it, I have felt it. There is no doubt in my mind that this is God's church restored to the earth. And I am endlessly blessed by it.

How I live my faith

I currently do not have any calling in the church other than visiting teaching because I recently had a baby. But all of the callings I have had up until now I have loved and learned so much from.
