Hi I'm Kyle

I grew up in Montana and Idaho, I love baseball, I'm a sports guru, and a St. Louis Cardinals fanatic, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

First and foremost, I am a sports fanatic and love anything and everything that has to do with baseball, football, and basketball. I could watch SportsCenter all day long and be totally happy. Baseball is definitely my favorite sport and it always will be. I love being outdoors and breathing in the fresh air. I was born in Montana, but moved to Idaho when I was 12. I love going fly-fishing, barbecuing, camping, snowmobiling, four-wheeling, boating, and especially bridge jumping in the summer. I also love kicking back and watching a good movie. I am the 2nd of 6 kids with four brothers and one sister. I love to laugh and have a good time. I live my life by this motto, "Do work son!" I think life is for working hard and playing hard! You might as well enjoy the ride, right?

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have a strong desire to follow Jesus Christ and His teachings. I have found that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints strives to do just that. I grew up in a "Mormon" home, and always rode my parents testimonies. I knew they knew it was true, and I thought that was good enough for me too. But, when I was in college after I graduated high school, I soon realized that wasn't enough. So, I decided I would have to find out for myself if it was true. I decided to read the Book of Mormon and to pray about it. I cannot describe the feeling that came over me when I sincerely prayed about it and when I got my answer. I know without a doubt that this is His church here on the Earth. It means so much to me to have this knowledge that I do and that this church is true. I feel so blessed to have the Gospel in my life and to be able to share that with others. Without it, I can honestly say I would have nothing. But with it, I have everything I could ever want. The knowledge that I can be with my family forever is the greatest blessing I could ever ask for.

How I live my faith

I am currently on a mission in the Mississippi Jackson Mission. (aka MJM) It is such a wonderful experience to be able to share the Gospel with others 24/7. I always wanted to serve a mission growing up, and when I finally got on one I don't think I realized how amazing it is. To be able to see the light of the Gospel come into someone's life is the best feeling in the world. It truly has the power to change lives. I love being able to serve others and to have that good feeling after you do it. I live my faith, or try to live my faith in every action that I do. I know that being a good example in word and deed is the most important thing I can do.
