Hi I'm Krystie

I grew up on a ranch. I'm a pharmacist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My family is unique in that my father is cowboy and my mother is a Native American. I love music, and played the flute, piano, and was a twirler in my high school marching band. I especially love jazz and played the keyboards in both high school and college jazzbands. I married my high school sweetheart and the two of us went to college together and became pharmacists. We have two sons and one daughter. Sadly our marriage failed and I had a miserable time coping with that. I prayed earnestly to my Heavenly Father for direction and help to make it through. Four years later I was blessed to meet a wonderful man who was also divorced with four children of his own! I feel extremely blessed to have met him. I know that my prayers were answered by a kind and loving Heavenly Father who brought us together.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have read the Book of Mormon from cover to cover and the Spirit born witness to me that it, along with the Bible is the word of God. I have prayed many times and received answers to my prayers. There have been times when I have done something as small as losing my keys and after getting down on my knees and praying, I find them immediately. When I was ten years old I was burned badly in a kitchen grease fire. The doctors said I would never have much use of my left hand. After receiving a healing blessing my hand began to change dramatically much to my doctor's surprise. He said he'd never seen anything like that before but it completely healed. I am left handed and write, play the piano, and twirled a baton with that left hand. I know the Lord healed me through that priesthood blessing.

How I live my faith

I have gone by the Mormon church's standards of not smoking or drinking alcohol and feel this has been the basis for the great health I've enjoyed. I know it's not the sole factor but I know it has greatly contributed to it. I taught my children to be morally clean. They lived by that high standard which is not the world's standard and both of my sons served as missionaries for the church bringing the good news of Jesus Christ's gospel to many others. My daughter attends a church school where she abides by the honor code also. Young people are happier when they abide by this teaching. It saves them a lot of heart ache that they have seen their peers have to deal with due to not living by those standards.
