Hi I'm Isabell

I'm a care giver & a friend & I have a small business that makes and sells jewelry. I live w/ my parents in Independence Oregon.

About Me

l like pop music modern country and karaoke. My favorite sport to play is volleyball. I like magazines. I think it's quite fun to go through them collecting what I like from them and then throwing them away. Especially the pictures. I'm into the fashion, home decor, art or anything visual. Sometimes I make collages of them.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church and gained a testimony of the church when I was 15 and was visiting my grandma I felt the spirit so strong when we were discussing spiritual things. My grandma told me that was the spirit and told me she also felt the spirit and it helped her with her testimony. I have since felt the spirit numerous time when I attend church which is why I love going to church; and when I read the Book of Mormon and when I read truth in the bible; and when I discuss spiritual truths; and whenever I hear things that are true.

How I live my faith

I attend church on Sundays ,say my prayers daily, and read at least a few verses out of the Book of Mormon everyday.

To what do you attribute the growth of the Church?

The church is true; and because it is true it has lasted into our modern age from 1830 by just a few to many around the world. If it were not true I don't believe it could have survived especially with all the persecution the early saints had to endure. Why would they have held to the gospel if it were not true? And it was in fact what helped them to endure the persecution and all the trials that came along with that. Show more Show less

Why is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints called Mormons or Mormonism?

It was a nickname given by the enemies of our church in the early days and is still used by those anti our churh today as a means to confuse those who don't understand our church into leading them to belive we are not christian. Most people today know of us by this name and are in no way against our church though. We do not take offense by being called mormon. However we do want to make it clear that we are The church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints. Show more Show less
