Hi I'm Lagisa Falesui

Hail from the one and only Paradise called SAMOA.Love playing sports, currently serving as a full time missionary and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in the beautiful Paradise called SAMOA the heart of the Pacific.I have three older brothers and of course the only princess of the family.I loved playing sports such as basketball and volleyball as well as doing polynesian dance.I love meeting new people and help them with their needs and concerns.I loved playing with kids and developed friendship with all of them because they always brought peace and joy in my life.I am now serving as a full time missionary in the California Carlsbad Mission. The reason why I decided to sacrifice 18 months of my life in doing Gods work is that I know that we are all sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father and He wanted each and everyone of us to reach out to others by serving them not only physically but for spiritually as well.I know that my Heavenly Father loves me in so many ways in my life, through good times and also hard times.I've experience his love for me when I am facing difficulties and trials in my life,I know without any doubt that only through the infinite sacrifice that was prepared by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ that can heal the wounded soul and bring peace and everlasting happiness in our lives."For God so love the world,he gave his only begotten son so that no one will be perish but gain Eternal Life. For God sent not his son to condemn the world but that the world through him might be Saved" John 3:16-17.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in a mormon family but their were times in my life that I really didn't think of my religion that much.I had alot of friends and love hanging out with them, when I was 14 I left home for further education.I lived in New Zealand for almost 3 years,I attend different religions there,my aunty was not a member either.Eventhough I was having so much fun in life and had a lot of friends but their were times that I always felt that something's missing in my life.I was struggling and facing a lot of trials,I came to a point of forgetting who I really was but mostly my family.I've tried so hard to find my way out but because of the darkness that caught me, I just couldn't find my way back. However,I decided to go back home where I belong. One day, we had a volleyball tournament, the scores were pretty close and we had one more point from winning,my coach was telling us that we need to say a quick prayer but I refuse. The game started and here I am waiting unpatiently to strike the ball, the minute I start running trying to make the jump, suddenIy I heard a pop in my back,I fell right down on the floor without hitting the ball and I couldn't see anything. The game was over and of course I was taken to the hospital,my back was broken so badly and I couldn't sit or move for almost 3 months.I remember when I was laying on my bed after my dad and my bishop gave me a Priesthood blessing,I felt a very strange warm feeling inside of me,it seems like someone is touching my back telling me that its him that I was searching for,for a long time.A statement that I will never forget is when He says"Return unto me and I will return unto thee" and "Forget me not".After 3 months,I was back again,I promise Heavenly father that if I will ever had a chance to live again I will do anything for him and starting from there I knew that no matter how bad I was, my Heavenly Father never gave up on me.I know without a doubt that Jesus is the Christ and this is where Heavenly father wants me to be.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others through missionary work, helping them to understand more about Jesus Christ and have Faith in his Atonement.Helping others to have a great desire of wanting to repent and make a change in their lives. Helping others to understand who they are, where did they came from, what is the purpose of this life for them and how can we make it back and live with our Heavenly father again."Life is not waiting for the storm to pass but knowing how to dance in the rain".I live my faith by caring for the poor and the needy, the sick and the afflicted and by trying to follow the examples that was set by Jesus Christ and apply christlike attributes in my life. I live my faith by respecting and honoring my PARENTS and being nice to my Sibling as well as my friends. I live my faith by SMILING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What do Mormons believe about “eternal life?”

Lagisa Falesui
Eternal life seems like an easy word but it requires alot of efforts. The Apostle Paul says,"Faith without work is dead or nothing".Eternal life requires both "FAITH & WORK"."Faith is not to have a perfect knowledge of things;therefore if you have faith ye hope for things which are not seen, which are true" Alma 32:21.Heavenly Father ask us to keep all of his commandments such as,keeping the Sabbath day holy.Sunday is a special day for each and everyone of us to worship GOD and think about all the wonderful blessings that Heavenly father has given us.Have family prayers and scripture studies, discuss some of the things that keeps your family from being unify and how to overcome them.Jesus christ was baptized by John the baptist to fulfill all righteousness and to show us the way that we need to take in order for us to enter into the covenant of Salvation.Being baptise doesn't mean that you're saved already but it means that you are now willing to keep your body clean from all the harmful substances such as alcohol and drugs, avoid ponography and places that can drives the lords spirit away.Paying tithing, the Lord promise us that he will open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings upon us.Seal in the temple with your spouse and your childrens for all and eternity, and Enduring to the End.Means you keep having Faith,Repentance,go to church and partake of the sacrament to renew your baptismal covenants and Keep attending the temple and seek for opportunities to served others. What do Mormons believe about family?

Lagisa Falesui
I believe that Heavenly Father loves and cares for each and everyone of us so much by giving us FAMILIES.Family is a very IMPORTANT social unit not only for this life but for ETERNITY.The restored gospel blesses and helps husbands and wives, parents and children as they strive to develop stronger relationships and spiritual strength in their families. These blessings are available NOW and in ETERNITY.The gospel of JESUS CHRIST provides help with current concerns and challenges. Because FAMILIES are ORDAINED of GOD,they are the most important social unit in time and in eternity.GOD has established families to bring everlasting happiness to his children, allow them to LEARN correct principles in a LOVING way and prepare them for ETERNAL LIFE.The HOME is the BEST place to LEARN,TEACH and APPLY PRINCIPLES of the GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST.It will be a place where the spirit of the LORD can abide, blessing family members with PEACE,JOY and LOVE. What is the priesthood?

Lagisa Falesui
PRIESTHOOD is the POWER and AUTHORITY that was given by GOD to ALL of his worthy male in his CHURCH to ACT in his behalf as well as his SON.Priesthood is a very important and sacred power that JESUS CHRIST used to performed miracles, such as healing the sick, openning the eyes of the blind, and raising the dead but the most important thing is that he organized his church on the earth using that priesthood power from his Father in Heaven.Baptism and Temple ordinances can only be performed by that proper authority, the priesthood.
