Hi I'm Jess

I'm a Mormon. I am currently serving a mission in the Texas Houston East Mission. I love the outdoors.

About Me

I lived in Romania, I like to go running in the snow and I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the knowledge that I have gives me faith, it helps me to strive to become better in every aspect of my life and more importantly, gives me a purpose to life. I am a Mormon because my faith gives me great happiness. Amidst all of the problems that we see in the world, the gospel of Jesus Christ gives me a great hope to press forward everyday, despite the challenges that we all face, with a confidence that when we are obedient, and choose to put God first in our lives, everything works out.

How I live my faith

Right now, I am living my faith through talking to people, teaching them about our basic beliefs and inviting them to come unto Christ. Everyday as missionaries, we ride bikes, walk the streets and meet all sorts of people. We talk to everyone because everyone needs the gospel of Jesus Christ in order to be truly happy and be successful in the plan of our Heavenly Father. When I return from my mission, I hope to return to school and work. I will live my faith everyday by reading the scriptures, praying and taking each day at a time, seeking the help of God in every aspect and looking for opportunities to share with others the happiness that I have recieved. The most important thing that the gospel has given me is the opportunity to change - each day as I strive to become a better person, to strengthen my weaknesses, resist temptation, and change habits, I know it is only possible through the atonement of Jesus Christ.
