Hi I'm Samuel

I was born and grew up mostly in Texas. I am a mechanical and biomedical engineer. I'm also a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mechanical engineer finishing my PhD in biomedical engineering. I love engineering because I like to make the work better by solving challenging technical problems. I hope to some day research and develop new medical devices that can improve lives across the world.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family and I continue to follow the Gospel of Jesus Christ as taught in the Mormon Church because I feel in my heart that the Mormon beliefs are true. I know in my heart that Joseph Smith was personally visited by God and chosen to be a prophet. I know in my heart that the Book of Mormon is truly an ancient text written by Prophets in the Americas and was translated by Joseph Smith. I know in my heart and feel firmly that Jesus Christ died for my sins and was resurrected so that I can live again. I know these things about Christ because of the teachings of Joseph Smith, the words of the Bible, and the words of the Book of Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving daily to serve my fellow man. I also work daily to teach my children to love and serve others. It is my faith that has inspired me to be an engineer for medical devices. My faith has inspired me to serve as a volunteer for humanitarian aid organizations that provide engineering expertise to developing countries.
