Hi I'm Emilee

I grew up in Colorado. I'm a college student, a sister and a daughter. I love movie nights. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of six children and have the greatest mom and dad a girl could ever ask for. I enjoy watching movies with my brother and sisters, singing in my car, playing volleyball and having as much fun as possible. I feel incredibly blessed to be surrounded by such loving family, friends and members of my ward who have helped me become the person I am today. I'm getting ready to leave for my freshman year at college and even though I can't take my family to with me, I know that I will meet wonderful members of the church that will share my standards and will help me grow in the gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because to me it makes perfect sense. God has always wanted us to be happy and to understand our purpose here on Earth. I know that I am a child of a loving Heavenly Father. I know that He is real and I feel His love for me. He answers my prayers and I love him. I know President Monson has been called to lead and guide the church. I have always been a member of this church; but, I took the opportunity to find out for myself if all the things I had learned growing up were true. After reading and praying about the Book of Mormon, I received a witness from the Spirit that it was real. I've received witness's like that many times since and it reassures me that the decision I made then is still correct now. The Gospel helps me so much in my daily life and I have grown to love and cherish it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by simply doing the best I can and trying to following the Saviors example. Some people say living the standards of the church is difficult or too much to ask but in reality, it keeps us safe and brings joy and blessings in life.
