Hi I'm Rachel

I'm a college student. I love people, animals, and nature. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a young college student still trying to figure out what to do with my life! I am interested in studying speech communications, or public relations. I'm not shy, I love to talk and meet new people. I absolutely love to go on long runs, write in my journal, and listen to music 24/7. Some of my goals are to run a marathon, start a S.A.D.D. (students against drunk driving) organization where I live, and get married in the Temple someday. I am a fan of big dogs, interior design, and acoustic/piano music.

Why I am a Mormon

There was a time in my life where I wasn't happy at all. I knew I was missing something. When I started reading the Book of Mormon, repenting of my sins, and praying to my Heavenly Father more regularly, I began to be filled with joy and the light of Christ. Knowing that my family can be together forever has helped comfort me when my older brother died in a car crash. I know I will see him again, and it's all because of the Savior's Atonement. The Gospel of Jesus Christ simply makes me a happier, stronger, and better person.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be kind to everyone. I realize that we are all children of our Heavenly father and we are all special. I try to live my faith by not only forgiving those who have hurt me, but forgiving myself for mistakes as well, and constantly strive to be a better person. I want to be an example to others so I dress modestly, keep my language clean, and live alcohol-free. In Church I have a calling to help those who are sick or in need of anything, by taking them food, or being a good listener, etc.
