Hi I'm Kristi

I'm a mom to 3 fun-loving kiddos. I'm a wife to 1 fish-loving man. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, I am Kristi. I am a mom. I am a wife. I love to water ski. I love to take pictures. I have a Masters degree in accounting. I love my life - my life is perfect, EXCEPT when it's not. I guess that is part of life; rolling with job changes, moving across the country, having perfect days, and having bad days with redeeming wonderful moments.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. There is not a day in my life that I do not thank my Heavenly Father for the knowledge of the Gospel. The knowledge that I am a daughter of God gives me a confidence that is unshakable and a strong foundation. Every decision I make is influenced by my being a Mormon. I am grateful that I have an understanding that the choices I make matter. Heavenly Father has expectations of his children, just like I have expectations of my own kids. The commandments and guidelines that our church leaders teach us about are to keep us happy and safe. When I follow these guidelines I am truly happy and filled with peace. I know of no other source for this peace than my loving Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I serve the young women of our ward. I love this calling! I love getting to know all of the girls and hearing about what is going on in their lives. Middle school and high school can be rough sometimes whether it is drama with classmates or temptations to do things the girls have been taught not to do. I thoroughly enjoy our conversations on Sunday and at our midweek activities. I also attend my church meetings every Sunday and love the feeling I have while there. It invigorates me and reminds me of what is important in life. I want to do what the Lord wants me to do.
