Hi I'm Linda

I'm from Vegas! Born and raised. I finished college here. I married and started a family here. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a happy wife and mother! I love these opportunities... and BOY are my BOYS cute! I love my family and friends, and I am so grateful that they are a part of my life. We have a lot of fun together! Aside from my LOVES above, I also really like Oreos, Birthday Cake Remix from Coldstone (hold the fudge), hamburgers, art and design, Pinterest, the color yellow, computers and design programs (3D-Max and Photoshop mostly), plain-Jane jeans and a t-shirt, ponytails, crafts of all sorts, easy-read/heart-warming novels, hiking, fishing, beach-bumming, hot summer days and swimming, learning, learning, and learning new things.

Why I am a Mormon

I was baptized when I was 8 years old. From my journal entry entitled "My Baptism" it says, "I got a spesill filling inside that made me what to cry." - Good thing you don't need to know how to spell in order to FEEL the spirit! That was indeed a very special day!!! I knew I wanted to be baptized as I had 5 older siblings to follow in their footsteps! I am so grateful for their example. Since my baptism, I have always felt that the Gospel of Jesus Christ truly is a beacon in my life. In times when life has felt at its darkest, the Gospel has always been a light I can turn to for truth! It IS my Northern Star - constant and never changing! For that I am grateful, because life tends to be the opposite and is sometimes bumpy. I know that the Gospel is true. There is a purpose to my life. Life is eternal, and His plan is happiness. The Gospel has become a deep part of me that I cannot imagine me without! That's why I am a Mormon... It's who I am.

How I live my faith

In Gordon B. Hinckley's book, "Standing for Something," he writes that the "single most substantial factor in the degeneration of the values and morals of our society is that we as a a nation are forsaking the Almighty." Isn't this true? I am not perfect, but I do stand for something. I know who I am. I am a Daughter of God, and I try to live as He would want me to. I love my Heavenly Father! I love that he has blessed and enriched my life in numerous ways! I can definitely count my blessing, and I know WHO to thank.
