Hi I'm Scott Christensen

I'm an average every day person. Love sports and the outdoors and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married for 11 years. My wife and I have 4 children. 1 has autism, and 1 has too many problems to list. I work for a cell phone manufacturer and am currently attending Weber State University. I love all sports especailly BYU Football, Chicago Cubs Baseball, and Utah Jazz basketball. My sons and I enjoy camping, fishing, and duck hunting.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it has changed my life. Before leaving for my mission in Oslo, Norway, my family and I took a Church History Trip, to Iowa, Missouri and Illinois. After seeing the Liberty and Carthage Jail, as well as touring Navuoo, the spirit testified to my heart that the gospel was true. Also while serving on my mission I saw miracles with people I taught, and members that I worked with, that helped confirm the truthfulness of the gospel. Although my life has not been easy, especially with 2 special needs children, I am grateful for the gospel and what it has brought to my life. I could never deny the truthfulness of this wonderful gospel.

How I live my faith

I do not claim to be the perfect example of a Mormon. However, I do live my life according to the principles the gospel principles the best I can. We hold Family Home Evening every week, I listen to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir while at work when I can, I listen to the Book of Mormon every day on my way to work. I love my calling as the Cubmaster in our Ward. Working with the younger kids in my Ward has only helped to strengthen my testimony of the gospel.

What is a ward/stake/branch?

Scott Christensen
The only way I can describe a Ward is.....one big giant family. Our ward has been a blessing to my wife and I. Althought they are geographically assigned, I think the people in our Ward were put there for a purpose. They have been a strength and support to my wife and I ever since we have been a part of the ward. It is because of our Ward that we have stayed in our house as long as we have. We cannot see ourselves living anywhere else. Show more Show less
