Hi I'm Deverie

I am a wife. I am a mother. I am a homemaker. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love family. I am a wife and a mother with seven children. I look forward to the joys and adventures that each day brings. Some of my hobbies include playing the piano, singing, cooking, gardening, playing sports and exercising. I graduated with a bachelor's in child development. I enjoy all activities that allow us time together as a family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a Mormon family with 11 children. For generations our family has lived the principles and turths of the Mormon faith. From a baby I was taught to sing songs of Jesus, read scriptures, and pray. Even at an early age I felt in my heart the love of Heavenly Father and that His teachings are true. I have seen joy come into my life and into the lives of my family members. I have a love for family, a love for God and Jesus Christ. Because of Jesus Christ, if I live the principles and ordinances of the gospel, I am able to be with my family forever.

How I live my faith

I am able to live my faith each day as I teach our children about Jesus Christ. We gather our children in prayer and scripture study. I pray personally each day for guidance to help our children learn who they are and who they can become. I study the Book of Mormon and Bible to learn ways to obtain Godlike qualitites such as patience, love, compassion, and joy. Each week we go to church. I enjoy going to church, but church is not just a place I get to go on Sunday. I am able to apply the truths I learn at church into my life and into the lives of my children.
