Hi I'm DeLisa

I am a wife, a mother, a sister, a daughter, and a friend, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife of a medical school student and a mother of a cute little toddler boy. I am the oldest of five. I have three sisters, and a brother. I enjoying reading, playing sports (especially basketball), crafting, and organizing. I am finishing up my degree in accounting. I love to laugh, have fun, and enjoy life.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church. I continue to go to church because I know it is the only true church on Earth. I have read the Book of Mormon and have prayed to know of its truthfulness and my prayers have been answered. I know that Jesus Christ is my savior and redeemer. I know that by living the principles taught in the Book of Mormon and by our living Prophet, Thomas S. Monson, that I can return to live with my Father in Heaven again. I know that I can be with my family for eternity. The blessings that have come into my life from living the gospel are innumerable.

How I live my faith

I strive each day to teach my son what I believe in. I also teach the toddlers in my church through the nursery program. I take the photographs at our church events and design the church bulletin board to display information of upcoming events and news. I also have three sisters that another lady and I visit each month to check on their families and any needs that they might have. We always conclude our visits with a spiritual message. This event of visiting sisters and checking on them is called Visiting Teaching. Every woman in the ward has this wonderful opportunity.
