Hi I'm Candacy

I am a busy mom with three children. I teach English to international students at a local university. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived in Nebraska, Colorado, Arizona, and California. I also spent some time in Spain and Mexico. My husband and I have 3 children and our favorite activity is just hanging out in our family pool. We also love Broadway musicals. Wicked, Phantom of the Opera, and Les Miserables are among our favorites. I majored in Spanish and have taught for both public and private elementary and secondary schools. Teaching is my profession and hobby! Currently, I am teaching English to international students at a local university. I love being able to meet people from all over the world and help them reach their goal of mastering the English language.

Why I am a Mormon

I feel very blessed to have been raised a Mormon and to have a firm belief in Jesus Christ. My gratitude for the gospel of Jesus Christ increased when I graduated from high school and moved away from my home to attend college. The difficulties of living on my own and the pressures of attending college and working made me turn to God for strength and comfort. I continue to turn to God when life gets challenging. I am always able to find peace and encouragement.

How I live my faith

I love to pray--its what keeps me sane in a crazy world. I know God hears and answers my prayers. I also love to serve. I have the opportunity to help the women of our church that live in my area--I help organize activities, teach lessons during church, and assist with any needs that may arise among the families. Praying and serving help me to stay grateful for all of the blessings God has given me, even through the difficulties of life.
