Hi I'm John

I live in Arizona. I like to hunt, fish, write books, go dirt biking and play some airsoft. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am John, and I live in Clay Springs Arizona. I live with my parents still and I am the youngest of seven children. I have four brothers and two sisters. I am an uncle to 14 nieces and nephews, as both sisters and 2 older brothers are married. I have just graduated and will be going on a mission at any time now. and have recently received the Eagle Scout award. I have written two books recently and hope to get them published very soon. I enjoy camping and other outdoor activities such as riding a dirt bike. I will be going on a mission any time now and can't describe of how excited I am. All of my four other brothers have served a mission, and they say it was the best thing they had ever done in their lives except getting married. One of my older brother, is currently on a mission to Colorado and loves it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have a testimony the Church and gospel of Jesus Christ are true. I respect and honor other religions very much. They try to further the character of man and I respect that greatly. They hold many great and important truths and doctrines but do not contain simple and important truths that tell us where we were, why we are here, and where we are going. I love to read the Bible and the Book of Mormon because they give me happiness I cannot find anywhere else. I have a testimony this church is true. I have had experiences I cannot deny nor could I ever deny they happened to me. This is why I am a member of the Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday and learn about the basic doctrines the church has. I bless and break the bread because I am a priest. I go home teaching with my father. (Home teaching is where we go to a person's house, share a lesson with them, and do service if they need it.) I go to young men activities every Wednesday night at 7:00. I do not swear and try to live the gospel standards. I do not see this as a burden but a blessing. I am not only doing what my parents would want me to do but what the Lord would want me to do.
