Hi I'm Sandra.

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of six children. I attended The University of Texas at Austin and am now a teacher. I love going to the beach and fishing. I just celebrated my second anniversary with my wonderful husband.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family. My ancestors were some of the first Mormons in the South Texas area. I am so thankful for all the sacrifices they made so that we can have the gospel in this area. I believe that there is a plan for each of us here on earth. I believe that we lived with our Father in Heaven before we came to this earth. I believe that we are here to be tested and make choices to see if we will follow the example set forth by Jesus Christ. I believe that through the atonement and resurrection of Jesus Christ, we can all sbe saved and return to live with our Father in Heaven again. I am so grateful for the blessings of the temple and the knowledge that I can have a forever family if I do my best to follow the commandments do what is right. I know Joseph Smith saw Heavenly Father and Jesus when he prayed for answers. I know he translated the Book of Mormon, which truly is another testament of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I attend church services with my husband every Sunday. We have the opportunity to teach a class of 4-6 year olds all about Jesus. It is amazing to see their testimonies grow each week as they come to realize how much Heavenly Father and Jesus love them. Each night I read the scriptures with my husband before ending our day with prayer. I pray daily to thank Heavenly Father for his blessings and ask Him for guidance in my life.
