Hi I'm Leslie

I'm a Mormon. I'm a Mom of 1 son and 6 daughters. I love Arizona sunsets and do it yourself projects.

About Me

I met and married my husband in college. We both continued on to get our bachelors degrees. I am blessed to be the mother of 1 son, and 6 daughters, and 6 beautiful grandchildren. My family is the greatest joy in my life. I love it when my family gathers together. My grandkids are best friends. I enjoy spending time working in my flower gardens, projects around the house, and fabric creations.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents taught me the truth and light of the gospel of Jesus Christ. As I child, I knew that I would have to someday have my own testimony. I followed their example in faith, and as I did, my testimony grew as a child, into teenage years, and now as an adult. I believe in following God's plan for us. I live the gospel the best I can, but often fall short. When I do, I repent a try again. I love the Mormon beliefs that families can be together forever. Our former prophet, Gordon B Hinckley said, the Mormon church makes bad people good, and good people better. I am better because a am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

A line from a favorite children's song is, "if the Savior stood beside me, would I do the things I do?" I try to be Christlike in my interactions with my family and others. I want to show kindness, be honest, truthful, and loving. I strive to keep the commandments. My husband and I want to help others less fortunate that us, and we are involved in a charity that gives microloans to people (mostly women) in developing countries. I teach 6 year olds each Sunday at church. I love teaching them about Jesus Christ, and sharing scripture stories. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ.
