Hi I'm Edwina

I'm a mother of 5, grandmother of 17 and counting....My family is the center of my life.

About Me

I am a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. All of the wonderful people in my life-- my children, grand children, extended family and great friends bring me my greatest joy. I love to read, listen to good music, watch wonderful old movies---(To Kill a Mockingbird is my favorite book and movie!) and enjoy the beautiful land we live on here in west Georgia.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in Alabama and visited many churches. I chose The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because it has answered every question I have had about why I am on this earth, where I came from and what the next life will bring. I love knowing that through Jesus Christ and his atoning sacrifice, our family can be together forever. I love the peace that the the teachings of this church brings me in a troubled world.

How I live my faith

I enjoy volunteering in Atlanta Temple each week. I am able to help families be united eternally. My church teaches me to be kind to others, tolerant of their beliefs and to find ways to serve my fellow man.

What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

My church teaches me that God is our Eternal Father, and that Jesus Christ is the literal Son of God. Under the direction of His Father, He created this earth. He fulfilled His divine mission which was to atone for the sins of all mankind. He is my personal Savior, and as the scriptures teach, He is the only name under heaven whereby we can be saved. I love my Heavenly Father and I am so grateful that he sent His Son to die for me and make it possible for me to return home someday and live with my family together forever. Show more Show less
