Hi I'm Kelli

I grew up in Arizona and recently moved to Salt Lake City. I am a big sister, a wife and a mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of 5 children. I grew up in Arizona spending most of my time trying to keep COOL!! I married my husband in 2008 and we just had our first child, Dakota Ann, in January 2011. She is the light of our lives! I attended BYU-I and was a double major of Psychology and Music, might go back eventually and graduate. Right now i enjoy being a stay at home mom. In my spare time i love to cook and do crafts, especailly around the holidays. Christmas is my favorite!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the chruch. I grew up with a lot of non-member friends, my best friend being a devout Catholic. I was always repected by my peers and they always were accepting to my beliefs. the reason why I have chosen to stay a member of the church and have chosen to live my life accordingly is simple... The Gospel is TRUE and CONSTANT... not many things in my life growing up were constant and the one thing I knew i could always count on was my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. And they have given us the Gospel to stay close to them, to guide and rear us on the straight and narrow. To help us grow and become more like our Savior. The Gospel never changes... the scriptures are always the same and are filled with endless principles and giudance. My savior gave his life for me... suffered significantly to give me a chance to be here today and to have the Gospel, the least i can do is to live according to his plan.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by lifestyle... The church is a lifestyle... how we dress, what we eat, how we speak all the way to how we spend our time and what days we do things. It is not a restrictive lifestyle... it is a motivating, enriching and positive lifestyle. You feel complete and directed in life. I do my best to live the Gospel and set an example by doing service, holding Family Home Evening and Family Scripture. I may not be doing everysingle thing (i'm no where near perfect). But i do my best to show others what a joy it is to be a member of the church and despite the fact that I may not always be doing everything I am asked and may get lost. I always have the Gospel to turn to... that will get me back on track and remind me of the blessings I receive from doing the things I am asked. I would like to share my testimony... I know that the Gospel is true, that Jospeh Smith is a Prophet. I know that my Savior lives and loves me, I know that Thomas S. Monson is our true and living Prophet today. I know that my fmaily will be together forever because of the blessing of the Temple, I know that the Book of Mormon is the Word of God. I love my Savior, My Father in Heaven and my family. I say this in the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ, Amen.
