Hi I'm Wil

I grew up in California, I love my family, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I was raised in a small mountain town in California. I love playing sports. I played football for a college in Virginia. Learning about history is a favorite hobby of mine. My family is important to me and I love spending time with them.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are members and I was raised in the church along with my brother and sisters. That isn't the only reason why I'm a member but it does contribute to it. I grew up being told that this church was true and the only true church on earth. I never had doubt about it but I didn't know for sure. I didn't have my own witness from the Holy Ghost of its truthfulness. It wasn't until I was in high school that I gained my own knowledge that the church was true by reading the Book of Mormon. I read it and then prayed about it and received my own witness from the Holy Ghost. I receive so many blessings and my family receives many blessings from this gospel and being a part of Christs restored church. I wouldn't give up my experiences in this church for anything in this world.

How I live my faith

I strive to be an example to others every day. I go throughout the day looking for ways to serve me fellow brothers and sisters. I try to make sure the things I do won't disappoint my Savior, Jesus Christ. I'm not perfect but I do my best.

What is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' attitude regarding homosexuality and same sex marriage?

Homosexuality is another tool used against the human race to tempt us to do evil. There is nothing wrong with a person that has same sex atractions. It is when the person starts to give into this temptation and starts to act upon it that is wrong. God has ordained marriage between a man and a woman. Every family needs a man to fulfill the role as father and a woman to fulfill the role as mother. This is how God intended the family to be, to bring children into the world and to fulfill His commandment of multiplying and replenishing the earth. Show more Show less
