Hi I'm Dale

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Charles Dale Willis Jr. I am proudly married to Shellie Lyn Perkins Willis. We have 4 wonderful children and 3 beautiful grandchildren. I am the President/CEO of Willis Property Company, located in Mesa, AZ. My hobbies are: Scouting, Fly-fishing, golfing, and roping.

Why I am a Mormon

I am proud to be a Mormon or member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. My family has been members of the Church since the early days of the Church. Many years ago it became apparent to me that I personally needed to know if the Church was true. After much study and pondering of the scriptures, particularly the Book of Mormon, I prayed with much faith and ask my Heavenly Father to truly know: if the Book of Mormon was true; if Joseph Smith was a prophet; and are we lead my a modern day prophet today? There came over me since a warm and peaceful feeling that I knew at that very moment that God was speaking personally to me, and that he knew and loved me. From that day until now, I remain a faithful follower of Jesus Christ, and member of His only true and living Church on the earth. It is my witness that we have a loving Heavenly Father that knows us personally. That Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. He lives and loves each of us. As we apply His infinite atonement in our lives by repenting and being baptized we will live with Him once again. This testimony is the very core of my being and I know what I have stated is true.

How I live my faith

I have been blessed to serve others in and out of the Church for many years. A number of years ago, I served as a missionary for the Church in England. It was a blessing for me to serve as a personal representative of the Lord Jesus Christ for 2 years. I shall never forget the people of the British Islands. Later I served as a Bishop in the Church. It was such a wonderful blessing for me to see and feel the Lord's hand in ministrying to those He loves. Currently, I am presiding over a stake in Zion, as Stake President. The members and non-members of the Church that reside in our stake are simply wonderful and loving people. I have been honored to serve the Savior for so many years. Also, I have been very active with the Boy Scouts of America. Currently, I am serving as Grand Canyon Council President, which cover most of Arizona and serves over 47,000 scouts 22,000 volunteer leaders. Scouting is a wonderful means to teach Citizenship, Moral Values, and Service to Community.
