Hi I'm Jason

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Im a husband of 11 years with two wonderful children. I am a business owner, I love the 2nd amendment as well as my country. My interest are martial arts, golf, and anything firearm related!!! My real passion if for my family. My family and I love outdoors, and we incorporate our family in all our activities, from target shooting to the same programs we watch. My life is about family, and I love it.

Why I am a Mormon

I knew nothing about the LDS faith growing up. I was catholic and baptised to a christian denomination when i was younger. I always believed in God, feared hell, knew there was a heaven. I never lived a faith based life style with my family, we usually went to church for Christmas, Easter or to attend a funeral. My closest relative was killed when i was just dating my now wife. I was confused on what to feel and what to believe about his fate. My wife had always tried to share the gospel with me, though it was falling on deaf ears. When my cousin died, a window had been opened. I asked her to share with me her views on where she felt he was. She instead shared with me what she believes about, where we came from, where we are going. I was instantly overcome by a feeling of warmth and tears, a peace that i had never experienced before. I knew without a doubt the words she spoke were true, like the vail of a forgotten knowledge had been removed. I was now feeling and thinking on a spiritual level. I know i can never deny the truth about the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and the message it holds. I have never turned back, and never will. I know this is the one true church of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, I know there is no other way. I testify I know these things be true, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

Our family starts off with prayer and scripture every morning. It helps guide myself as well as our children throught the day to remember to hold strong, live a life as the Savior would want. We end our day the same, as well as discussing our days trial and triumphs. We teach our children morals and virtuous way. We most importantly teach by example. I taught the 14-15 yr old boys in Sunday school, as well as boyscouts. I currently teach Sunday school for the 10 and 11yr olds. We teach them through scripture and example how to lead lives in a manner the Lord has set forth, and how to help and be productive in their communities and families. I also attend a Sunday school for the adults that helps us incorporate morals and values in our dealings that the gospel contains, standards the Lord has set.
