Hi I'm Kyle

I'm from Indiana. I am the father of an energetic little girl. I'm currently attending school at Ball State. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 23 years old and am currently attending school at Ball State University to become a high school math and physics teacher.I am married to my high school sweetheart, Katy, and we have a 9 month old daughter who never stops talking or moving. I enjoy sports, especially basketball, which I coach at a local high school. I work at a restaurant/golf course which keeps our family pretty busy trying to juggle a daughter, church responsibilities, school, and work.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born as a member of the church, however it was my grandparents who initially converted to the church. Their decision to join the church has greatly influenced my life and made me feel grateful to them. Growing up I was able to see how the church and it's teachings strengthened my family and brought happiness into our lives. As I strive to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ I have seen his hand in my life. After serving a mission in the Philippines I knew that I wanted the church to be a part of my life in the future. I want the blessings of the gospel of Jesus Christ to continue to bless my family. One principle that is significant to me is that of eternal families. Knowing that I can spend eternity with my wife, children, and parents inspires me to be the best individual I can be. I know that being a member of Christ's church has blessed my life significantly.

How I live my faith

I serve as a Sunday school teacher, in our local ward, teaching the 16 and 17 year old class. I also participate in "home-teaching" where I am assigned to visit and take care of other members of our ward. I'm responsible to help those families in any way I am able to, and let church leaders know of any needs they might have. I do my best to attend as many activities as possible and usually play basketball with some other members on weeknights.
