Hi I'm Mark

I'm a husband, a father, a grandfather and a sculptor and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My wife and I have been married for 39 years. She was 17 and I, 19. We met at a regional LDS Youth Conference in southern Georgia two years earlier. She had to have permission from her parents for us to be married in the SLC Temple. It was our first time on a plane and we went by ourselves and it's been an interesting journey since. We have six children and nineteen grandchildren. We are madly in love with one another. I am a professional sculptor and have been for over 25 years. I was born to sculpt. I feel and know that God gave me some profound direction concerning my art and work. I also play a fairly smooth blues harmonica.

Why I am a Mormon

I have accepted Christ as my Savior, the Son of God the Father and know that He and only He can save me from death, sin and make me the person He knows I can be. I have accepted His servants and His saving ordinances preformed by the authority of His Priesthood. It's the only Way.

How I live my faith

I am true to Christ, my wife, my children and my grandchildren. I serve as second counselor to the Bishop in our congregation and I love it. The best non-paying job I've ever had. I also preach through my sculpture. I portray images of the Lord in bronze along with images of His creations. markhopkissculpture.com
