Hi I'm Kendra

I love to laugh, learn, and to sing really loud in the car and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife to my best friend and a mother to the sweetest 18 month old baby boy. They make me laugh everyday and I enjoy spending time with them. I have a degree in Communications but want to go back to school and get 10 more degrees. I absolutely love America, history, comedies, and passionate music (especially love ballads, 90's, crooners), I love celebrating holidays, I love planning parties, but most of all I love being with my family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I could say I'm mormon because it makes me a better person, and it makes me a better mom and wife. I could say going to church is fun because I make friends there and having an organiztion that is like a family is great because they are always there for you. I could say I want to raise my son in a church that teaches good morals and standards, that I want to be a part of an organization that is family oriented. while all of this is true, that is NOT why I am a Mormon. I am a Mormon because at the end of the day I know this is Christ's church. As a teenager I wanted to know for myself if the church was true, so I read the entire Book of Mormon cover to cover, when I was done I asked for confimation that what I was reading was true. I knelt down to pray and I asked my Heavenly Father and he answered me with a warm burning within my soul. I knew then, and I know now that the Book of Mormon is the word of God, and if that was true then Joseph Smith really was a prophet of God and this really is the restored gospel on earth. Knowing this gives me peace through an often rough and lonely world.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being kind to others. By serving others you are serving Heavenly Father's children. I've served in various capacities at church and I've enjoyed them all. Ive found that although I am helping, I'm usually the one who gets the most out of it.
