Hi I'm TJ

I'm a Hunter, a Cowboy, a Missionary, I have four nephews, and im a Mormon.

About Me

I love hunting fishing and to play games with my nephews. I have hunted in Utah and Wyoming and hope to hunt in a bunch of different places in my life time. I like to ride snowmobiles and to feel the fresh powder in my face as you lay the sled over, I play basketball and i love baseball and i love to experiment on what to add to food to make it taste better. I don't care for tomatoes or really hot food but my favorite food is a big juicy rib eye steak.

Why I am a Mormon

I really didn't have the choice to be a member because my parents are members but I grew up knowing that there was something special in the Church and I really never had the opporunity to figure out why until about 2 years ago when I decided that it is time to find out for my self. So one day I was on my knees giving thanks for the day and I had an idea pop into my head that I should read the Book Of Mormon so I made a promise to myself that I would read the Book. I read it the first time and was thinking and praying I did not recieve an answer so I took the council of a Seminary teacher he said " It took me two times of reading the Book Of Mormon to know that it is true" so I began to read again and I was reading in the Book Of Mormon in 3 Nephi 11 when I had a distinct witness that the Book Of Mormon is true and that this is the true Church of Jesus Christ that has been established in this last days. I know that this Church The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints is the same Church that Christ established when he was here on the Earth and that I have no doubt that it is led by a Prophet today.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday and do service for those in need in my town and I love that love you gain as you do service for others. I also try to be nice to everyone to try and make people feel comfortable as they visit or help in activities. I also attend activities that we do through out the week with the members of the Church. I am also serving a two year mission in Spokane Washington to help others see the joy of Christ's wonderful sacrifice that he did for everyone of us.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

TJ
Family is so important the family helps us grow from one another. In our families we love one another, serve one another, teach one another, and learn one from another. We share our joy's and our sorrows together. Families tie us together to help when we are down and to lift us up as we face difficult challenges, they give us strength and some of our greatest joy. The family is central to God's paln for His children he gave us families to learn from one another and to see the joy for ourselves that God has for us. It gives us the opportunity to bring children into the world so they can be loved, provided for, and taught truth and righteousness. While we cant choose where we are born, we can choose everyday weather to make our families stronger and happier. We know that it is possible for individuals to return to Gods presence and for families to be united eternally. Show more Show less
