Hi I'm Jordan

I grew up in Seattle and am now serving a Full-Time Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently serving as a Mormon Missionary, the guys in white shirts and ties that always knock on your door. Growing up, I was always pretty active in Church. I liked to go camping, biking, and practice Karate.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised good by my parents, they really did their best to teach me good principles. There did, however, come a time when I was 14 years old that I really wanted to know for myself if the Book of Mormon was true. I was at a church camp called Especially for Youth when my counsalor challenged us all to read part of the Book of Mormon that night and then to pray to know if it was true. I did that, and the answered I recieved was unmistakable! I know that God answered my prayer that the Book of Mormon is true, that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world. And it has affected my life every day since.

How I live my faith

As a full-time Missionary, I talk to hundreds of people every day to share about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. A mission isn't easy by any means, but I know the answer I recieved is true, and that the teachings of the Savior can help everybody!

Why do you have 12 Apostles? They were just meant to be around for the time of Jesus Christ, not to be replaced with new apostles.

As a Mormon, I believe in the Authority of God that can be given unto men. In the New Testament, I know that Jesus Christ gave that authority specifically to 12 men to maintain His church after the resurrected Christ returned to Heaven. These 12 Men were special witnesses of Jesus Christ to all the world and to ensure that the Church was clean and pure. Likewise, after a thousand years without the Authority of God, Jesus Christ has once again called 12 Men to be special witnesses of His name to all of the earth. These men recieve revelation to direct the Church of Jesus Christ and to bless the lives of everyone on the earth. Show more Show less

What is being a Mormon like?

Being a Mormon is the funnest thing you could ever do! Growing up as a Mormon, I had so many fun oportunities to be with people my same age, who believe similarly as I do, and who just wanted to have fun! As a Mormon, I go to church on Sunday, I try to live a life acceptable to my Father in Heaven, and most importantly to learn and to grow in the time I'm here! Show more Show less
