Hi I'm Marylynn

I'm a wife, a mom and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother of six kids. I enjoy running, hiking, laughing, family, and being adventurous.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family who were members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. As a young child, one day I was walking to church with my grandma and asked her, "How can I know if this church is true". She gave me a very wise answer. She told me to pray and ask God if it was true. She told me I might not know right away, but I would know eventually. This has been so true. Over my entire life I have had sweet sacred experiences to know without a doubt that the gospel of Jesus Christ was restored through the Prophet Joseph Smith, and we are led by a living prophet today. I know that my Savior knows me and hears and answers my prayers. I know that Jesus, our Savior, suffered and died for us so that we may live with Him and our Father in Heaven again, and I know the family is ordained of God and that sacred temple ordinances give us the privelege to be together as a family forever. The Holy Ghost and made these things known to me and I am so grateful for these experiences that have helped me know that I want to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Living my faith is my life. I love reading the scriptures, all the scriptures including the Bible (Old and New Testament), the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants, and the Pearl of Great Price. I love what the scriptures teach me and how they help bring the spirit into my life. Daily I am taught by verses I read in the scriptures and usually every week I find a new favorite scripture. I also live my faith by being a wife and a mother. I love that I have been blessed with this awesome privelege. I have an amazing husband who helps me every day and I pray that I can help him in the ways he needs strength. I have six great children who teach and serve me every day and I love finding ways to interact, serve and teach them. One other way I live my faith is through prayer. I feel so priveleged that my Heavenly Father listen, hears and answers my prayers. Not always the way I thought they would be answered but He always answers them. As my prayers are answered I am reminded of not only my Heavenly Father's love for me, but also my Savior's love for me. Sometimes it is as simple as a beautiful sunrise while I am running, or planking with my kids on a Friday night, but often and amazingly daily my Heavenly Father sends sweet daily "tender mercies" that remind me that I am a child of God.
