Hi I'm Latisha

I am a mother of 4 and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a stay-at-home mother of 4. I teach piano lessons, substitute teach, and do occasional data entry contract work from my home. I stay busy keeping up with my children and serving in the church and community. I enjoy reading and traveling when I get a chance!

Why I am a Mormon

I am the oldest of 6 children and was raised as a member of the church. I was baptized when I was 8 years old. My parents prayed with us morning and night, held Family Home Evenings and family scripture study, and instilled in each of us a firm foundation and knowledge of the gospel. Their teachings, as well as watching them serve others and live their beliefs, helped to shape my testimony from my youth. My personal conversion has come gradually over many continued years of living the gospel, as well as through specific moments when the spirit has testified to me of the reality of the restored gospel and of my Savior's love for me. My life has been richly blessed by my membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by being an 'example of the believers.' I read the Bible and Book of Mormon regularly, pray, listen to the words of living apostles, serve in the church, and attend the temple. I try to be a good example to my children and to those around me by dressing modestly, using clean language, keeping the Sabbath Day holy, and watching and listening to appropriate media. I watch for opportunities to serve those around me, and try to do so willingly. Although I am not as bold as I should be, I share the gospel when I feel prompted to do so. Every part of my life is affected by my love for the gospel of Jesus Christ.
