Hi I'm Nic

Hi I was born in Texas. Grew up in Arizona. I'm a soldier for the U.S. Army. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Well about me, some of my hobbies are I love music. So that entails a lot. I play the guitar, the piano, a little bit of the drums, and I sing. I love it all it really calms me whenever I'm stressed or just need to relax. I also love sports specially golf, volleyball, and football. I recently have enlisted in the Army and am leaving for training soon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the truthfulness of this church. I grew up in this church but there was a time in my life where I had to decide if I wanted to continue or not. A lot has happened to me in my life where sometimes you just think why would this happen, ex. the passing of my brother. The way I have found this church to be true is through the works it brings. I have read the Book of Mormon over and over and every time I feel nothing but joy. I feel the spirit testify to me that the things I read are true. Every year we get to special chances to listen to the leaders of the church inspired and chosen by God and the messages they bring to us ring true every single time. If I've ever been pressed with a hard situation some how and in some way what is being said is applicable to me. It's somewhat a hard feeling to explain but you'll know it when you feel it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith the best I can. I don't do it for my family or my friends or church I go to but I do it for God. I go every Sunday and participate with discussions and questions. Every month I get the chance to go and check on certain members of the Ward I belong to to see how they are in all aspects of their lives and if there is anything I can do for them or to help them. I get the chance to do a lot of service and honestly nothing makes me feel better than helping someone else "when you are in the service of your fellow being you are in the service of your God"

In whom should we have faith?
