Hi I'm Caroline

I have seven kids. I love to be creative. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a big family, and I drive a full size van loving known as "the beast." I do 20 loads of laundry a week, but still can't seem to keep up. I make my own bread and laundry detergent. I love to create, and try to squeeze in time to craft, decorate my home, cook and blog about it. I love to read but rarely have enough time to read everything I'd like to. Most nights though, I manage to read Little House on the Prairie with my daughter. I do scouts and cub scouts, swimming and the library, chore charts, reading charts, piano and tuba practice. I love being a mom and wife and wouldn't have it any other way.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the Savior is the center of my life. Knowing that when I make a mistake, I can repent because of the power of the atonement makes my life great! Knowing that my family can be together forever helps me keep things in perspective. When things get hard or I'm just feeling down, I love that there is ALWAYS someone there for me. Jesus Christ loves me no matter what I do, how grouchy I am, or if I stayed in my pajamas all day. This knowledge makes me want to be a better person and to help others be better to too.

How I live my faith

I try to be like the Savior as I live my life. I hope to be a good example- in the way I talk, in the media I use, in the way I treat other people. I try to be kind and compassionate in the all the things I do. I have failures everyday, but through the atonement I can repent and become a little better each day. The most important thing I do is help my children understand and live the Gospel. At lunch time, I tell scripture stories to my little kids while they eat. In the morning and at night, I kneel with them next to their beds and help them say their prayers. We get our family together twice a day to read scriptures. The kids have short attention spans, so that only lasts for a few minutes each time. I'm not always perfect, but they know that I'm trying, and they know that I love them.
