Hi I'm Cris

I grew up in Port Angeles WA. I keep rooting for the Seattle Mariners, no matter what. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm an engineer working at a small valve manufacturing company. I really enjoy designing new things and making the business better. When I'm not at work I'm home with my family. I'm married and have 3 little kids. The kids are a lot of work, but there isn't anything I would rather do then be with my family. We like to play board games, video games, and a variety of sports.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church so I have always been familiar with the teachings in the Bible as well as the Book of Mormon. I had a wonderful supportive family and I always felt an influence of the Savior in my life. When I was a teen-ager I began to consider the choices that I faced and the opportunities that were ahead of me. I prayed and read the scriptures frequently, and the Holy Ghost helped me gain a greater testimony of the Savior and the importance of always putting Him first in my life. I have looked back on that time in my life many times and I am so grateful the Heavenly Father helped me to make those important decisions that have been a blessing for the rest of my life. Each day I thank Heavenly Father for His love and ask for His continued guidance.

How I live my faith

Each week my family and I attend our local church. It's tough helping little kids learn to sit still while someone is speaking to the congregation, but the kids love the wonderful primary classes that they attend. Their teachers are great and I'm glad they are learning about the Savior early in life so it can be a strength to them as it was for me. I help out as one of the leaders for the young men's group. The young men are very impressive. My family does our best to continue that teaching all week. We read the scriptures with our kids and pray with them each night. We also reserve Monday night as family night .o sit together and play a game and have a lesson about a gospel principle. They don't always sit still the whole time, but they look forward to it and always remind us that it is family night
