Hi I'm Bobby

I grew up in Federal Way, WA. I love music, art, film, skiing, skateboarding, going to shows, and being active.

About Me

I've always been very active and I've always been interested in typical boy things like going fast, climbing and doing tricks, now I just use better equipment. I love to travel and experience different cultures and beliefs. I'm currently a student looking towards a career. I'm a punk rock, ska, orchestra folk pop nerd. I love 80's and 90's pop culture. I love to learn about how things work. I love my friends and family. And, I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ for the direction in which it has guided my life.

Why I am a Mormon

The authority to act and speak in the name of God, as did Moses in the Old Testament and Peter in the New, has been restored along with his church. God, again, directly speaks to man as he once did, and guides his church through a living prophet. I think that's pretty important in a time when there are so many different opinions and philosophies on how to live, and what is right and good. Through honest study, meditation, and prayer I have received an assurance that that God did restore his church and authority through the Prophet Joseph Smith, and that the Book of Mormon is authentic and truly teaches and testifies of Christ. As a student unsure about my future, I know that I can turn to God for guidance and receive direction with difficult decisions. I've learned that true happiness comes through following the example of Jesus Christ by loving and serving others and living a pure life. My life has focus and direction because of my knowledge of the purpose of this life.

How I live my faith

I serve as a clerk in my local congregation, and I volunteer on the finance committee of a Franciscan family center in town. I attend church services every week to renew my resolve and to remind myself of my priorities. I make the gospel a part of my life everyday through prayer and study, and I do my best to live by it. Also, I love to give high fives. Spread the love bro.
