Hi I'm Jen

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a great family and I love spending time with them. My husband and I recently relocated to be closer to family and so our daughter could get to know her grandparents and cousins better. I am a pharmacist and love my job. It gives me the freedom to be with my family and support them. I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family and also indoors watching movies, scrapbooking, cooking, and whatever else brings the family together. I am currently expecting a second child and look forward to having another wonderful little one around the house.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the gospel and grew up attending the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. However, it wasn't until college that I truly converted. I learned from a time where I was finally on my own and making my own decisions that the truthfulness of the gospel and practicing it's doctrine is what truly made me happy. When I wasn't doing what i was supposed to be doing and making the wrong decisions I wasn't happy. I knew that the church was true and that following the teaching of the gospel is what made me happy and that is what I wanted. I decided to be happy and I knew that the teaching of the Church of Jesus Christ is where I could find the joy and happiness I wanted.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to teach my children the things they need to know to be happy in their own lives. I also teach the 10 year old children at church and I find so much satisfaction in this. The youth of the church have so much knowledge and such an amazing spirit about them. I love to hear them sing and when they sing the spirit is so strong. I also visit four women in my ward on a monthly basis and enjoy the time I get to spend with them. I have gotten to know a lot of the women in my ward very well and have made some very close friends. It feels good to have women who share the same values as you to confide in when you need help. My husband and I hope that we can instill the values and standards of the gospel in our children so that they will always have the truth in their lives and choose the correct path to be happy.
