Hi I'm Ute Hathaway

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi I am Ute and I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints. I am mother of 2 of my biological children and 2 step children. I am married to Will who I finally met when I was 36 years and we have been married for 8 years now. I have my own business as a caregiver in my own home and I take care of 3 ladies who can't live alone anymore. My favorite thing is to be a Mom and a wife.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I have a deep respect for all religions and denominations I could never find a religion that I could absolutely commit to because I had so many questions but not enough answers UNTIL one day 2 young men came to my door step. As always I was very open to listening to them as I have done before with many other proselyting religions. As the Missionaries continued talking to me, a great peace came over me and I knew that I had found what I was looking for. I finally got answers to all the questions I had and what I had felt inside for years was now matching the teachings of those missionaries. I have never had a regret that I was baptized, although people think we have to sacrifice so much and have so many restrictions, but that is not the case. I have more freedom now than I ever had.

How I live my faith

I try to live a good life by serving my family, friends and strangers. I truly love people and want them to know that. I believe one must not just preach religion but actually follow the Savior's footsteps and have the pure love of Christ to share with others. I am definitely not perfect by any stretch of the imagination but I strive to be a better person today than I was yesterday. I go to my meetings and try to live the things i learn at church. I partake of the sacrament in remembrance of my Savior who died for you and me, and to keep his commandments as much as possible. I hope that I will always be able to let people feel that I care about them and love them and hopefully even give them strength. I am glad I found the gospel and the answers I needed. Ask me questions and I will try to answer them.
