Hi I'm Rachel

I grew up in Kansas; am a degree'd personal trainer; wife to man of my dreams; mother of 4 beautiful children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a small town in Kansas. I was the only Mormon in my High School. I graduated from the University of Kansas (Rock Chalk!) with a degree in Exercise Science and then got my ACSM Personal Trainer certification and have worked for many years as a personal trainer. I also have been trained in a martial arts style of Kickboxing and love that. I love sports and hope to be able to play them until I die. I am married to the man of my dreams and we have 4 beautiful children together and live in the state of Washington (where my husband is from).

Why I am a Mormon

I have a strong belief and faith in my Savior, Jesus Christ. I know this is his restored gospel on the Earth today.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday. I read my scriptures and pray daily. I try to treat others as children of God: with respect and service.

What is being a Mormon like?

I think it is "happiness." Through living the principles taught in the gospel, we, as members of the Mormon faith, avoid many pitfalls of the world today that cause much unhappiness. This doesn't mean we don't struggle and face difficulties that are part of this life, but I believe we, for the most part, are strong and happy through the challenges of life because we are focused on doing what is right and feel good about that.
