Hi I'm Joseph Te'e Masaniai

I grew up in Tacoma, WA and also Santa Ana, CA. I have been through many trials and tribulations, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love to spend time with my family at any available opportunity. I find joy in helping others in need. I am not a person that asks for much, but more than likely I would rather take the shirt off of my back, rather than you give me something. I grew up as a member of the church, but at one time I seemed it was right to take a detour from the church where I thought I would find joy, how ever I found some joy but more pain, and emptiness than any other time in my life. My family did raise me right, but for some reason I still felt the need to do my own thing. I did meet the love of my life which made me see another path, for her I am so very grateful. I have dated her for over 2 years, and now more than ever i am happy to say that I have found "TRUE LOVE!" We are getting married on Nov. 5, 2011 in the Los Angeles Temple for all time and eternity and I couldn't have found a better woman of than her. She loves this gospel, and has such a sweet spirit, I love her so much and am so happy for her and her example to me. She has such a great testimony of the gospel and helps mine grow every time she shares hers.

Why I am a Mormon

what a great question with an easier answer. I am Mormon today for my grandfather Te'e Alofaituli Masaniai Sr. searching out for a greater truth. If it was not for him bringing the missionaries back to Vatia, American Samoa in 1963, I truly do not know where I would be at today. More importantly, for my father Te'e Masaniai Jr. introducing the gospel to my mother and her accepting the gospel into her life while pregnant with my younger sister. And for both of my parents although now divorced, continuing to teach the gospel to my sister and I. It is for them and there strong testimonies, and faith in the gospel that I am a strong member of His church today. It has been a great joy in my life to know that I have membership in this restored gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that Christ lives, I know that Joseph Smith did restore the fulness of His church here on earth and for that I am forever grateful. I am also so grateful again for the willingness of my grandfather wanting to seek a greater truth, and wanting to talk with the missionaries and bring this gospel to my family. I know that families are forever, and I am so happy to soon be starting my own eternal family. I am so grateful for missionaries and all the work that they do to continue to bring more souls unto thee. This is the true church restored here on earth. I say these things with a humble heart in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by my actions and how I hold myself in public places. I have tattoos, and use to have long hair, but I've cut that off. LOL. I try to lead by example as best as I can. I do have a calling in my ward as a ward missionary as every member none the less is still a missionary, but that is my title. I unfortunately am not able to serve in my calling, due to my current work schedule, but I feel that as I continue to live my life by the teachings of the gospel and lead by example in the work place, they will see my example and want to know why I act the way I do. I love all the positive examples that I have had in my life, and I hope that my example will one day want someone to know more!
