Hi I'm Scott

I am a dentist in Arizona. I have a wife and three beautiful children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the great state of Arizona. We spent summers wakeboarding at Lake Powell. During the winter we would go snowboarding in the mountains. We would go hiking, fishing, and camping throughout the year. I was a dedicated student. I have always enjoyed learning. My family has always been very musical. I have played the piano for over 20 years and I enjoy singing and musical theater. I still live in Arizona, and I still get to enjoy all these wonderful things, but with a family of my own. I have a beautiful wife and three young children. We still go to Lake Powell in the summer, and we are exploring Arizona all over again with our kids. I am a local dentist. I enjoy working with people and getting to know them and their families over the years. We are lucky to live in a great community.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Mormon faith, but like everyone else, the time came when I had to make the decision for myself if I would keep following this faith. I feel very fortunate that my parents taught me from a young age that God loves me and that He knows me. During my teenage years I really wanted to know if the faith I had been raised in was true. I remember praying earnestly to Heavenly Father and reading the entire Book of Mormon, and asking if this was all true. With time I felt the spirit of the Lord touch my soul and bring peace and light, telling me that this was all true. It was like God was telling me, yes, this was His true Church. Then I wanted to serve a mission and go tell others about the Book of Mormon and the great blessings of being a member of this Church. It was during my mission to Brazil for two years that my faith was truly tested. I had to ask myself, do I really believe this is true. Over and over again I felt the spirit lift me up and strengthen me, telling me again that it was true. It was an amazing experience to tell people about our Church and to see the joy that came into their lives as they also accepted and were baptized.

How I live my faith

Now as a father I get to help my children learn about Jesus and feel His love. I also work with the youth in our local Church, and it is great to see them learning about God and gaining their own testimony of the truth of this Church. I also help out by visiting the families in our local Church that I was assigned to visit once a month, to make sure they are doing okay and to share a message about God. I try to be honest in all my business dealings, and I just try to be a good friend with all my associates.
