Hi I'm Chelsea

I'm a friend. I'm a college student. I'm a newlywed. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! I'm Chelsea! I grew up in a small town in Arizona. Some hobbies include playing the piano, singing and dancing. Also, I love participating in triathlons and in charity events! Right now, I am attending a university. My major is Elementary Education with an emphasis in special education. For my occupation, I am a nanny for two children who have a speech delay. They are the sweetest kids you will ever meet! About one month ago, I was married for time and all eternity to a wonderful man! Together we have started our own little family. I am so grateful that we will be together forever! I wouldn’t want anything less!

Why I am a Mormon

We believe that families can be together forever. In marriage it is not "till death do you part," it is "for time and all eternity." This has been such a huge blessing in my life. I am so grateful that I will be able to be with my parents and siblings for forever. Without them, heaven wouldn't be the same! Also, I cannot imagine life without my husband. He is my best friend, my love, and my everything! I want to be with him for eternity and I want our children to be with us for eternity. Families are forever. This gospel brings me peace. It helps me keep my life in balance. It helps me grow closer to my Savior and become more like him. This gospel brings joy and fulfillment to life! It helps me understand my purpose, my destiny, and my potential! I know that this gospel is true. My testimony was gained by reading the Book of Mormon and sincerely praying to my Heavenly Father. The feelings I received were undeniable. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints IS true. This book DOES testify of Christ. Heavenly Father is real. He is there. And he cares. He will answer your prayers like he answered mine.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others. Last weekend I was given to opportunity to participate in a charity event. It was a walk to raise money for children with autism. My group received over $400 in donations. I love participating in those events! I've had the chance to help organize blood drives, food drives, and other charity events. It's such a sweet experience to give service. In our church, helping families in the community is extremely important. When a family in our church needs help, I offer any resources I can. Whether it be making dinners, sowing a quilt, or cleaning a house, I am there to help those just as Christ would. In all honesty, I really don’t do anything extraordinary. I just take every opportunity I can to help! I want people to come closer to Christ because they knew me.

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Chelsea
In the scriptures it says, "God is the same yesterday, today, and forever." God was involved in the lives of his children then, and he is definitley involved in our lives now. He uses living prophets to give us direction and protection. Heavenly Father loves his children. He would not abondon them. He has chosen a prophet to lead his church and help with his work. I know that Thomas S. Monson is God's chosen prophet today and I invite you to listen to his words and feel of his special spirit. Show more Show less
